Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using EZ Certs TX at ezcertstx.com (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the driving school you represent (the "school").

Eligibility and accounts

The service is for Texas driving schools licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and their staff. You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for your school. You are responsible for keeping sign-in details confidential and for everything done under your school's account. Tell us right away if you think an account has been misused.

The school's responsibilities

The school is responsible for the information it enters and the certificates it issues, including that students actually completed the course, that student details, dates and grades are correct, that it uses certificate numbers it bought from TDLR, and that it reports to TDLR on time. The service helps fill in and track certificates; it does not decide who is eligible and does not replace the school's obligations under TDLR rules. Check printed certificates before handing them out.

Student information

The school confirms it is allowed to collect and enter its students' information, including information about students under 18, and to have us store it on the school's behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.

Signatures

Signatures drawn, typed or uploaded for the school owner and instructors are printed on certificates. Only add a signature with that person's permission. The service records who added each signature and when.

Fees

Access is currently by signup code. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you the price and terms before any charge.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to issue false certificates, try to reach another school's information, share accounts outside your school, interfere with the service, or break any law.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and backed up, but it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may update the service and these terms; we will post changes here and, for significant changes, tell schools by email.

Ending an account

A school can close its account at any time and ask for an export of its records. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Records are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, EZ Certs TX is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for certificates, reports or decisions that rely on information entered by the school, arising from use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
